“You Might Think” covered by Weezer (Epitaph Records)

“You Might Think” (1984) was originally written by The Cars. Weezer kept the sound as close to the original as possible. Probably this was an homage to the song’s writer Ric Ocasek. Ocasek later produced Weezer’s breakthrough blue album (Weezer).

Track 6 “Run Away” is credited to both Rivers Cumo and Ryan Adams.  Other co-writers featured on the album include Linda Perry, Dan Wilson, and Mac Davis.

Weezer prepare to release new album ‘Hurley’ (Epitaph Recs)


Weezer will be releasing a new album titled ‘Hurley’ on September 14.  The album is named for the Lost character Hugo “Hurley” Reyes.  Album artwork also depicts a photo of the actor who portrays “Hurley”.
