Glad Christmas Tidings feat. David Archuleta

David Archuleta was the guest vocalist who performed with “America’s Choir” The Mormon Tabernacle Choir at their Christmas concert last year.  The album and DVD/Blue Ray has now been released.  By all accounts this is a tremendous performance.

Mormon Tabernacle Choir Release– 100 Years: Celebrating a Century of Recording Excellence

The two disc box set captures the best and most requested tracks by the surreal talent of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (the longest running US choir).  Also referred to as “America’s Choir”, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir/MOTAB recorded a first album out September 1, 1910.  It has since continued with albums and recordings capturing the greatest hymns and inspiring tracks available.  Recordings include collaborations with Andrea Boccelli, Josh Groban, Natalie Cole, Angela Landsbury, and many more.  They were even invited to perform the Olympic theme song for the 2002 Olympics (where they also performed with Sting).

The album was released on iTunes and via retailers June 10, 2010.
