Brandon Flowers at Live From Abbey Road

“Mansard Roof” covered by Ryan Adams (live home recording)

Mansard Roof

“Mansard Roof” was originally written and released by Vampire Weekend on their eponymous debut album. While Adams’ vocals might not be wonderful, the guitar work in the middle is terrific.

FIRST LISTEN: Big Talk by Big Talk

Big Talk

This is the surprisingly fun solo effort of drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. of The Killers. We recommend it despite songs with sometimes weak lyrics hovering on whiskey. Any strength in this album is due to it’s pumped up and catchy hooks.
